These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Daily Bible Verse app ("the App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
1. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial use, in accordance with these Terms and Apple's or Google's applicable store terms.
2. Acceptable use
You agree not to: reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App except where permitted by law; use the App for any unlawful purpose; interfere with the App's ads, security, or normal operation; or attempt to circumvent the Premium subscription mechanism.
3. Content
Bible verse text is drawn from public-domain and freely licensable translations. The App's original content — layout, design, quiz questions, reading plans, and app-generated text — is owned by us or our licensors and may not be copied or redistributed outside of normal use of the App (such as sharing a single verse image, which the App is designed to let you do).
4. Premium subscriptions and purchases
The App offers an optional Premium upgrade, available as an auto-renewing subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase. Exact current pricing and duration for each plan are always shown in the App before you buy, and are also visible in your device's App Store / Play Store account settings.

- Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account at confirmation of purchase.
- Your subscription automatically renews for the same duration and price unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period, at the then-current price for that plan.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription any time from your device's account settings (Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions on iOS, or the Play Store's Subscriptions page on Android) — also linked directly from the App's Settings screen.
- Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.
Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own refund policies — we do not process payments or refunds directly and have no access to your payment information.
5. Advertising
Free-tier use of the App includes ads served through Google AdMob. Premium removes these ads. See our Privacy Policy for details on how ads are served.
6. No professional or medical advice
The App provides devotional and religious content for personal reflection. It is not a substitute for professional pastoral, medical, psychological, or legal advice. If you are in crisis, please contact a qualified professional or local emergency services.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted/error-free operation.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App.
9. Changes to the App or these Terms
We may update the App and these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after an update to these Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App, and delete it, at any time.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory local consumer-protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise.
12. Apple-specific terms
If you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store, you acknowledge that these Terms are between you and us only, not Apple, and Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
