Is QR Scanner free?

Yes, QR Scanner is completely free to download and use. Some features like QR customization can be unlocked by watching a short optional ad.

Does the app need an internet connection?

Scanning and generating QR codes works fully offline. An internet connection is only needed to load ads or open URLs from scanned codes.

Is my data stored or sent anywhere?

Your scan and generation history is stored locally on your device only. We do not send personal data to our servers. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

What permissions does the app need?

Camera (required to scan QR codes), Photo Library (to save generated QR images or scan from photos). Location and Contacts are only requested when you generate that specific type of QR code.

How do I save a generated QR code?

After generating a QR code, tap "Save" to export it to your photo library, "Share" to send it via AirDrop or any app, or the copy icon to copy it to clipboard.
